Dr. Atdhe Hetemi serves as the Executive Director of the Institute for War Crimes Committed During the Kosovo War, recently established by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo for the purposes of researching and documenting war crimes. He has over seventeen years of professional experience across various sectors, including international organizations (UNDP, UN-Habitat, IOM, FAO, Council of Europe, etc.), academic institutions (universities, research institutes, etc.), and the private sector (TAG Digitals). His expertise primarily focuses on project/program management, research, and political tasks, while adhering to diverse work plans and quality standards. Dr. Hetemi is the author of more than thirty significant UN reports (Public Pulse Analysis, Pre-Trial Detention Reports, HDR, etc.), one book (published by Palgrave), and numerous academic articles (published by Routledge, Cambridge University Press, etc.). He has also delivered lectures on topics such as political and institutional stability, good governance and development, contemporary political history, and digital humanitarianism.
