“We cannot learn what has happened in Kosovo without learning what has happened in Albania, and we cannot learn what has happened in Albania without learning what has happened in Kosovo.” These words were expressed by Mr. Ardit Bido, the General Director of the Archives of Albania, during the signing of a memorandum of understanding between IKKL and the General Directorate of the Archives of Albania.
In the context of this memorandum, our two institutions will work together for the exchange of archival documents, the interaction of experts and professional experiences, as well as the deepening of historical studies that assist in a more comprehensive understanding of the events of the war for our two countries. During his visit, Mr. Bido had the opportunity to closely observe our work and to appreciate the commitment to preserving historical memory. This collaboration will strengthen our cultural and historical ties, bringing a new light to our shared past.
