In December 1998, the massacre at the “Panda” cafe in Peja, where six young Serbs lost their lives, remains one of the darkest acts of state manipulation by the Serbian regime. Initially presented as an attack carried out by Albanians, this event was used to justify violence and brutal repression against the Albanian people. Later, the truth came to light: the massacre was a scenario orchestrated by the Serbian regime itself.
Even today, terrorist acts and deliberate explosions in the north of Kosovo continue to endanger regional stability and the safety of innocent citizens, reminding us of the shameless tactics that threaten our future. These provocations underscore the vital importance of documenting and addressing all crimes in order to ensure justice and protect lasting stability and peace in the region.
