During the year 2024, the IKKL team, with a spirit of collaboration and solidarity, held regular work meetings every Monday to analyze priorities and allocate tasks, while reporting on the activities carried out every Friday. This work rhythm has ensured sustainable progress and produced significant results.
Due to this dedicated commitment, the Institute has become functional and extended across all regions of Kosovo, thereby accumulating approximately 200 meters of archival physical material and over 15 terabytes of digital data, always following a strict scientific methodology. Furthermore, the tireless work of the team has contributed to the creation of a strong identity for the IKKL and has enhanced its reputation both domestically and internationally. However, it is undoubtedly true that the achievements of this year are not solely the result of the commitment of the IKKL team, but also thanks to the continuous support from the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo, particularly from the Office of the Prime Minister, as well as from citizens and local and international organizations.
Our priorities for the year 2025 include organizing the first scientific conference of the Institute, with academic participants from dozens of prestigious universities around the world, implementing advanced digital software, and fully operationalizing the IKKL, thereby consolidating the role of the IKKL in documenting historical truth.
We sincerely thank each and every one of you for your support and dedication, and we optimistically anticipate that the year 2025 will bring even more success in fulfilling our noble mission of preserving and documenting historical truth.
