On Flag Day, we remember touching moments of our shared history. In 1999, during the darkest days of the war in Kosovo, Albania opened its doors and hearts to our brothers and sisters from Kosovo. As we celebrate our national pride today, we honor the spirit of solidarity that united us in those difficult times. Albania, despite its own challenges, became a shelter for hundreds of thousands of refugees from Kosovo.
This video is a testament to the indomitable Albanian spirit – standing strong in the face of adversity and extending a helping hand when needed. Our flag waves today not only as a symbol of independence but also of our humanity and eternal unity.
