In Drenas, we met Ms. Kadire Tahiraj from the Center for the Promotion of Women’s Rights and discussed the vital role of women during and after the war. In Qyshk of Peja, we visited Mr. Isa Gashi, the 82-year-old survivor of the Qyshk massacre, who shared his poignant memories of the tragedy experienced in this area. Additionally, in Mitrovica, we met former war journalist Mr. Izedin Krasniqi, who shared his experiences as a direct witness to the events of the war. During this visit, we further deepened our cooperation with the NGO “Voice of Parents” regarding the issue of missing persons.
The materials and evidence collected from these meetings enrich the archives of the IKKL and contribute to the establishment of a sustainable foundation for further research into historical truth.
